After many sprinted the miles to keep pace with Budhia, it is now the turn of Akankhya to prove her driving skills. On Sunday, the five-year-old got an encore by driving a bike blindfolded on a national highway in Balasore district for a good five kilometres, reports Soumyajit Pattnaik.

After many sprinted the miles to keep pace with the young runner, it is now the turn of Akankhya to prove her driving skills.

On Sunday, the five-year-old got an encore by driving a bike blindfolded on a national highway in Balasore district for a good five kilometres.

But she got a leg-up from her father and pillion-rider. Shantanu Nayak helped her change the gears and apply the brakes, as Akankhya deftly accelerated and steered the two-wheeler ahead. A local TV channel beamed the ride much to everyone's delight.
