Live grenade recovered, defused in Jammu

A live grenade was recovered in the border belt of Akhnoor, 30 kms from Jammu, which was later defused by the police, sources said on Wednesday.

The grenade was spotted at an under-constructed house near the river by a labourer who informed the police, they said.

The device was defused safely, they added.
