Addressing the BJP Parliamentary Party meeting in New Delhi, he said the law and order situation in the state was deteriorating with every passing day under the Mulayam Singh Yadav Government.

He said that it has become "worse" than the conditions that prevailed in Bihar during the rule of Rabri Devi and Lalu Prasad.

BJP Parliamentary Party spokesman Vijay Kumar Malhotra was talking to reporters in New Delhi after the hour-long meeting chaired by Advani.

The former BJP chief also asked MPs to effectively "expose" the UPA Government's "failures" on all fronts in their respective constituencies, particularly with regard to inflation and rise in prices.

Responding to a suggestion from party General Secretary Pramod Mahajan, Advani expressed concern over the "aggressive minorityism" being pursued by the Congress Government in Assam ahead of the Assembly elections in the state. He asked party MPs to devote maximum energies to counter the same.
