Services on the Central line was disrupted today after three boggies of an empty local train derailed at neighbouring Thane, railway officials said.

"The train, which was empty, was going towards Karjat from Thane yard when three of its boggies jumped off the track," Central Railway PRO A K Jain said.

No injury has been reported, he said.

All local trains on the slow line between Thane and suburban Mulund have been diverted to the fast track, Jain said adding services are running late by 30 minutes as the restoration work is till on.
