According to the Hollywood Reporter, the biopic titled Thatcher will focus on the period immediately prior to the Falklands war.

The film’s producers are also said to be lining up British actor Jim Broadbent to play Lady Thatcher’s husband Denis in the movie, reports the Telegraph.

The film is a joint venture of Pathe and BBC Films and will be directed by British director Phyllida Lloyd.
