HUNDREDS OF students kept waiting under the scorching sun and had to return empty handed after they were turned back by the counter clerks owing to unavailability of UG admission test forms at Chaudhari Mahadev Prasad (CMP) Degree College here on Wednesday.

The "irresponsible attitude" of college authorities has led to the suffering of the students and guardians visiting the counters for the admission forms on many occasions right from the day the sale of forms began on May 22.
Students and guardians visiting the CMPDC counters to purchase UG forms on Wednesday felt cheated when they were denied forms due the forms being out of stock. CMPDC principal Dr VK Sinha made an announcement on the loudspeaker that the sale of forms has been suspended and will resume only from June 3.
The students and guardians held the college authorities responsible for the inconvenience caused to them as no prior notice regarding the shortage of forms has been issued by the college authorities.
The shortage of forms has been a regular problem since the beginning of issue of the forms. The shortage of forms caused inconvenience specially to the reserved category candidates as irregularity has been reported about distribution of the reserved quota forms.

It was hinted by the authorities that the last date of sale and submission of forms will be extended till June 5 (without late fee) and June 7 with late fee.
