The whacked out Parekh family of the Star Plus comedy, Khichdi, is back, but this time on Pogo, the kiddie channel.
So you will have the dim wit Hansa and her devoted husband Praful, the always ready Jayashree bhabhi to gossip, the adorable Babuji and the equally adorable two grandchildren who always prove to be wiser and more mature than the older members of the family, regaling little viewers Mondays to Fridays at 8.30 pm.
Says the show’s producer JD Majethia, “Once we submit the show to a channel, we have no say in what they do with the content. To air Khichdi on Pogo is a decision which Star TV has taken. But we are very happy because the show, which had become very popular and is still remembered, is now on a kid’s channel.”
Meanwhile, the Parekhs will be back in a newer avtar says Majethia, in an all- new season.
