Don’t tell me that you’re not livid about this year’s Padma awards!
Why? Should I be livid?
Some very obvious choices have been left out and strange names given the award.
Like?
Well, I think that Rakhi Sawant should have been given a Padma. She makes real Indian women feel confident.
That’s a bit much isn’t it?
Is it? And why has Newsweek’s Fareed Zakaria got a Padma Bhushan? Do the Americans give any of us living here a Pulitzer?

Well, the CBI had chargesheeted him for defaulting on loans from the State Bank of India and other
public sector banks.
So you think he should have been given a political party ticket and not only a Padma?
Absolutely!
Do say: Padma Bhushan should get a Padma Lakshmi.
Don’t say: What are you saying! There’s no award money?
