Lou Vincent is one of the new breed of Kiwis who can lead their side to success in the future. Made a sensational test debut at the WACA against Australia where he opened the batting. he scored 104 and quick fire 54.

Then he returned to New Zealand for the home series against Bangladesh. In this series he did not do his talent justice, failing to pass 50 in the series.

Alternatively, the part-time wicketkeeper may be asked to don the gloves and bat high up the order.

He opened the batting but then later in the series dropped bat to his favoured position, number 3. Will look to improve on his one-day record in the VB series.
