Facing stiff opposition from family members, a boy and a girl, in love, on Tuesday allegedly committed suicide by jumping in front of a moving train at Govindnagar area here.
Kishan (25) and Seema (20) were in love with each other. They decided to get married but their family members were opposed to their relationship.
When the family members did not agree for their marriage even after repeated persuasions, the couple decided to take the extreme step, Circle officer Prashant Kumar said.

The police has also recovered a suicide note from the spot but refused to divulge the contents of the letter.
Meanwhile, the bodies have been sent for a post mortem and investigation is on to probe the role of the family members.
