Joshi, after inspecting the stadium which is undergoing major renovation, said there was need for improvement in a "few areas" in the arrangements for the match which will be watched by Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and Pakistan President Pervez Musharraf.

"We are not fully satisfied ... We have to still improve on a few areas," he told reporters without specifying the areas of shortcomings.

However, he promptly added that authorities were "attending to" the problems and he was hopeful that all necessary arrangements would be in place by Sunday.

Besides Singh and Musharraf, a number of VVIPs including UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi and former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee are expected to join about 25,000 fans to watch the tie.

However, keeping in view the high-profile nature of the match, Government went out of the way to give the green signal for it.
