Madhya Pradesh: Godwana Express searched after bomb scare

Delhi-bound Godwana Express was stopped at Malkhedi railway station in Sagar and the entire train was thoroughly searched after a bag containing bomb-like objects was found in a sleeper coach.

According to police, an abandoned bag was found lying in S-8 coach at Sehora railway station by police.

When checked, some copper wires, crackers, two lighters and a battery of 12 volts were found.

Superintendent of railway police, Jabalpur zone, AK Pandey said, "After the objects were found, the train was stopped at Malkhedi station and was entirely searched. However, nothing suspicious was found during the search."
