Selected by beating around a 1,000 entries for the competition, Komal says, "My belief in the thought that dreams do come true has been strengthened. I always thought that I would be able to make it, if I put in the right kind of effort. With due support from family and friends, it is an overpowering feeling to realise that I have been selected."

To be held in Solomon Island, Maryland in the US, Komal would be competing against 45 contestants from different countries. "The competition is scheduled for November; it is going to be a good learning experience for me. The biggest thrill remains that I would be representing my country at a competition which is considered as the highest competition in its own level. It feels amazing to know that the hard work has finally paid off," said Komal.

Winner of Mrs Asia Pacific and Mrs India International-2014, Komal is confident that this time also she will bring home the crown.
