Harish Sharma, a key aide of late BJP leader Pramod Mahajan was on Tuesday night arrested in the sensational Rahul Mahajan drug abuse case.

Sharma was arrested on charges of destruction of evidence at the late BJP leader's residence in New Delhi where his son Rahul took ill after allegedly consuming drug, a senior police official said.

Ganesh, a member of Mahajan's household staff, was also arrested on charges of destruction of evidence.

The duo had allegedly cleaned Mahajan's residence after a late night party where champagne and drugs were consumed resulting in the illness of Rahul and death of Vivek Moitra, the late BJP leader's personal secretary.
