After the under-22 match that was organised at the same venue between the teams of Vidarbha and Madhya Pradesh, this would be the second important match allotted to the BDCA by BCCI. “This is a big responsibility, as the BDCA is to organise three prestigious matches in a row”, Khan said.

The second match will be played between Saurashtra and J&K from December 20, and third match between Maharashtra and J&K from December 25.

Joint director Sports Department Dr Vinod Pradhan visited the stadium on Monday and directed the officers to make all the necessary arrangements.
