The Delhi police caught Jeeva two months back. He was brought to Ghazipur on the basis of Warrant-B by train amid tight security. He would be produced in the court at Ghazipur on July 28. Besides, hearing over the bail application of Jeeva would be held in the Court of SC- ST Act on Monday.

Jeeva had been arrested by the Delhi police under the 25 Arms Act. Later, he was acquitted by the Court.

The Delhi Court ordered the jail superintendant of Tihar jail to release him.
Since, Ghazipur police had requested the authorities of Tihar jail to send the accused on the basis of Warrant - B, so the jailor of Tihar instead of releasing
Jeeva handed him over to jail authorities in Ghazipur today.

Name of gangster Sanjeev Jeeva of Muzzafarnagar also surfaced.

Firdaus was shot dead by the UP STF in Mumbai three months back while Jeeva was arrested from New Delhi.

The Allahabad High Court had also ordered for the constitution of a CBI enquiry in connection with murder of BJP MLA on the petition of his brother Ram Narain Rai. The enquiry is shortly to begin with lodging of a fresh FIR by the
premier investigating agency.
