Major fire reported in Mumbai's RCF building

The fire broke out at around 9 am on the third floor of the building. Eight fire engines and two ambulances were rushed to the spot.

A major fire broke out in the administrative building of the Rashtriya Chemical and Fertilisers Ltd at Sion on Wednesday, according to fire brigade sources.

The fire broke out at around 9 am on the third floor of Priyadarshini building and eight fire engines, seven tankers and two ambulances were rushed to the spot, the sources said.

Since the building is situated on Eastern Express Highway, traffic movement was adversely affected at the peak office time, they added.
