TATA TELESERVICES Limited has appointed Anil Malik as Circle Operating Officer (COO) for Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh circle. He will be based in Bhopal and will be responsible for the company’s operations in two States.
Malik has been appointed in place of Jagrut Vyas, who will now look after the Andhra Pradesh Circle. Prior to his present appointment, Malik was handling customer service delivery for Haryana, Punjab and Himachal Pradesh.
He was also responsible for the customer care processes including training of customer care division and managing churn, credit and collections. Malik was also instrumental in setting up circle operations in Gujarat, Haryana, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh (west).
Having a decade of experience in telecom sector, Malik has earlier worked as head of operations, Essar Cellular Limited and had headed the customer care division of RPG Cellular Limited in Madhya Pradesh. He has also worked in different capacities in Escotel Mobile Communication, Modi Xerox at Bhopal and Methodex Systems Limited.
Speaking to Hindustan Times in Bhopal, outgoing COO Vyas said the Tata Indicom having 2.5 lakh subscriber base in Madhya Pradesh-Chhattisgarh, has received phenomenal response from the market, especially with its USP product – True Value.
