Allegedly disturbed after being separated from his beloved, a 20-year-old man committed suicide at Mahendergarh Chungi in Dadri town, Bhiwani district on Friday.

Allegedly disturbed after being separated from his beloved, a 20-year-old man committed suicide at Mahendergarh Chungi in Dadri town, Bhiwani district on Friday.

Sources said the deceased, Dadri town resident Sonu Kumar, eloped with his neighbor Aarti, 19, last Sunday. They got married at an Arya Samaj temple in New Delhi on Monday, and later went to a relative's house in Jind, where police caught them and produced them in Dadri court. The court sent Aarti to her maternal uncle's house, while Sonu returned to his own house.

Sonu was disturbed for the past two days after getting separated from Aarti, and committed suicide by hanging himself in an under-construction house adjacent to his house, the sources added.

Forensic experts who visited the spot said they had received a hand-written diary in which he had written about his feelings regarding the separation.
