Man gets life for raping daughter in Muzaffarnagar
Additional District Session Judge G P Tyagi sentenced Wakil Ahmad to life imprisonment after he was found guilty of raping his 14-year-old daughter under Section 376 of IPC and also imposed a fine of Rs 20,000 on Wednesday.

A man was on Thursday sentenced to life imprisonment by a local court for raping his 14-year-old daughter.
Additional District Session Judge G P Tyagi sentenced Wakil Ahmad to life imprisonment after he was found guilty of raping his 14-year-old daughter under Section 376 of IPC and also imposed a fine of Rs 20,000 on Wednesday.
According to prosecution, Ahmad raped his daughter, who became pregnant, at Hamidpur village in Bijnor district on July 15, 2008.
The girl and her mother deposed in the court for their testimony.
The amount of the fine will be given to the girl as compensation, the court ordered.
