Man killed along Indo-Pak border in J-K

An unidentified person was shot dead by the Border Security Force (BSF) on the Indo-Pak border in R S Pura belt of Jammu district on Sunday night, police said.

The BSF troops observed some movement near the border fence while they were on guard along International Border (IB) at Kote Kuba Border Out post (BOP) in Arnia belt, they said adding that the force asked him to surrender.

However, he tried to escape, forcing the troops to fire and was killed on the spot.
