A man was injured after he was thrown out of a moving train by unidentified miscreants who robbed him of his cash near Asara railway station in Muzaffarnagar, police said.

Amit Kumar, a resident of Sampla village in the district, was travelling in an passenger express train from Delhi to Saharanpur last night when four miscreants, who boarded the train at Asara, attacked and robbed him of Rs 3000, they said.

Kumar was pushed out of the moving train when he tried to resist them, they said. He has been hospitalised.
