The committee comprises of Kishore Gupta, director; Samyuktha Sridharan, chief commercial officer and Parthasarathi Basu, chief financial officer. Rather than one CEO these three would collectively run the airline and would report to the board.

The post of chairman and managing director is lying vacant since Siddhant Sharma quit in July. Meanwhile, a part of the fund committed by Ross is expected to come in within a day or two. In the past two weeks SpiceJet has initiated several revenue enhancement measures to tide over the oil crisis.
