Ghaziabad Police officials said Devidutt Joshi, Gautam Sharma, Dinesh Sharma, Anil Rathore and Ramesh Rana surrendered before a chief judicial magistrate court at Ghaziabad.

"ANL officials had named the five as the prime accused in the case. We have also moved court to take them on remand to know more about the incident," said Raghubir Lal, senior superintendent of police, Ghaziabad.

In a clash between workers and officials on November 13, ANL assistant general manager Yogender Chaudhary was chased and brutally assaulted by agitated workers. Chaudhary later succumbed to his injuries.
