Manav Rachna International School , Sector 14 is a School which aims to create great visionaries of the future , leaders of tomorrow and above all good human beings. The school has in more than one way made us realize of our duties and our actions towards our society. It has inculcated in us ethics, morals and the virtue of benevolence.
I believe that education should be an empowering process that allows and guides children to develop their passion, critical thinking, Compassion, and orientation towards wisdom for timely action.
Education, in my school enabled me to realize the strength within me and to take control of my life without fear. Life is how you perceive it and not how you look at it. My visit to NGO 'Prabhat', Vridha Asharam , Kanya Sadan gave me an insight to empathize and evoke a different yet special essence of life.
The school had taken us to the orphanage to interact and spend fruitful time with the orphans and share provisions such as food, clothes, shelter for their survival. Also we have learnt to take relentless responsibilities for their safety. We also visited the schools run for the slum children. Besides this, we also visited a school of physically and mentally handicapped children. We were truly touched and awestruck by the difficulties that these children have had to face.
Also, as part of our value education classes, we are taught to donate to the poor and needy in our society. My school has indeed taught me about socially contributing towards the society. My school has also taken us to camps and provided us workshops on personality development skills. We are encouraged to actively participate in the economic development of the country, and to be conscious of not indulging in hooliganism.. It is these basic values and principles that help us develop a better society and a better nation.
