Manmohan Singh not in race for PM's office

Former Union Minister and senior Congress leader Manmohan Singh said he was not in the race for the Prime Ministership. "No I am not in the race for the post," he told mediapersons.

"No I am not in the race for the post," he told reporters here in reply to a query.

When asked to comment on the recent statement by Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee on his "retirement", Singh said "I have got great regards for him and I will not say anything on this issue."
