Jharkhand Road Consturction Minister Sudesh Mahto has said many of his cabinet colleagues in the state NDA dispensation have not been able to inculcate in the minds of people the "feel good" sense over the developmental activities undertaken after the creation of new state.

"No doubt the new state witnessed steady development after coming out of the clutches of Laloo Prasad Yadav's Bihar. But unfortunately many of my collegues could not take the message to the masses due to lack of political will", Mahto, President of ALL Jharkhand Students Union (AJSU), a constituent in the BJP-led government in state, said.

Mahto, the 30-yr old, youngest in the ministerial council, has been credited by NDA leadership for his efforts in constructing roads in towns and villages of state. He had also played an active role in the statehood movement from 1991.

"It is for good that the BJP is banking on Atal Bihari Vajpayee's 'feel good' theory. But who will take the message to the last house in every village. After all, for the electorate their representatives come first", he said.

"All of the ministers got enough time to spread the message of development," he said.
