A top Maoist leader, accused in the killing of 11 policemen, was arrested on Wednesday in Bihar's Nawada district.

Acting on a tip-off, police raided Mahuliatand village in the district and arrested Meero Ravidas, SP Anil Kishore Yadav said.

Ravidas was the prime accused in the killing of 11 policemen in the same village on February 9, he said.
The rebel was absconding since the incident, he said.
