Suspected Maoists shot dead a man and his son in Bihar's Rohtas district, police said on Friday.

About 100 armed Maoists attacked Kenar-Khurd village under Chenari police station and shot dead Badan Singh and his son Visambhar late Thursday night.

Maoists also blew up Singh's house by using dynamite. Villagers told police that the incident was an outcome of a land dispute with Maoists.
Superintendent of Police Vikas Vaibhab said that security forces have been deployed in the village.
