Armed Maoists burnt a road construction (JCB) machine of a private firm near Paharpura village in Bihar's Aurangabad district today, police said.

Around six heavily-armed ultras raided the office of Jagdamba construction, engaged in construction of roads, confined the labourers in a room and burnt the machine, police said.

The Maoists escaped after the act of arson, police said, adding efforts were on to apprehend them.
