At least ten people, including four children, were injured in an explosion triggered by Maoist rebels in eastern Nepal.

One of the four bombs left by Maoists exploded on a bridge at Luwandra near Biratnagar Municipality on Friday, injuring 10 people, including four children who were playing there, media reports said on Saturday.

The injured were rushed to Koshi Zonal Hospital.
Meanwhile, an office building in Kirtipur Municipality in Kathmandu was partially damaged when a bomb planted by the Maoists went off while the army squad was defusing it, but nobody was injured in the incident, police said.
