'Baby Goran' came of age last year when he went close to emulating compatriot Goran Ivanisevic, the 2001 Wimbledon champion, by reaching the last four.

Has all the tools of a classic serve-volleyer but is also quite happy in baseline exchanges.

Probably the only man who has fond memories of playing Federer -- Ancic was the last man to beat the world number one on grass when he surprised the then still-developing Swiss in the Wimbledon first round in 2002.

His run to the semi-finals last year, however, may create a level of expectation he will find hard to fulfil.
