Market ignores 7/11, up 315 pts

The benchmark index closed higher at 10,930.09 while NSE index Nifty was up by 79.75 points at 3195.90.

The benchmark index Sensex closed higher by 315.74 points on the Bombay Stock Exchange on Wednesday on buying by foreign as well as domestic funds in blue-chip stocks.

The BSE-30 shares index closed 315.74 points higher at 10,930.09. It touched a high of 10,939.68 earlier in the day.

Similarly, the National Stock Exchange index Nifty up by 79.75 points at 3195.90, after touching a high of 3201.35.
