A SEMINAR on marketing scenario 'Kal aaj aur kal' was organised in the College of Business Studies, Allahabad Agricultural Institute Deemed University on Friday.

Prof GC Agarwal, former Pro-VC of Allahabad University, Biman Roy, Manager Marketing, Tata Solar Energy, Vijay Rath, Deputy Area Manager, Jaypee Cement Ltd , KNN Singh, former director National Small Scale Industry, Tarun Arora from Institute of Brain Merchant participated in the seminar making it a great successes. They shared their views and experiences with regard to marketing scenario in globalised environment.

Prof GC Agarwal stated that marketing mainly depends on concept of per capita human happiness. He said that marketing in future would concentrate mainly on customer delight and customer relation management. He stressed on the need to establish an identity in the market and build up a brand image.

Biman Roy shared his marketing experience of solar energy. He also called for building brand image without making fool to customer. He also told the students that our pursuit must be what next as marketing today is a 'war of ideas'. He explained the need to trap customer with emotional magnet.

KNN Singh dwelt on small-scale industry and stressed on customer-oriented market that inspire the students to become self-employed.

Vijay Rath gave an overall view of cement industry. He said that at present marketing scenario is concentrating on right product at right time as per need of customer.
