Second day witnessed the fall of 14 wickets. Defending champion Bhopal demonstrated irresponsible cricket while replying to Sagar’s small total of 166 runs in the first innings. Bhopal resumed at the overnight score of 57 runs for the loss of two wickets and commenced innings cautiously.

Shreyas Singh lost his wicket on an undeserving delivery by Krishnakant. At the individual score of 23 runs, Krishnakant bowled him out.

His exit sent team into problem, as the middle order collapsed like ninepins. The irresponsible batting of Bhopal could be gauged from the fact that team lost seven wickets while adding just 68 runs. Such was the struggle of the middle order, including skipper Abhishek Singh, Saurabh Khadse and Gaurav Talreja, that they contributed just one, four and zero respectively to the total.

At the end of the day, Sagar had scored 92 runs for the loss of six wickets. Friday will be the last day of the match.
