Mathura: Russian couple looted by two youths

A Russian couple was looted by two youths during their visit to the sacred hill 'Govardhan' in the district, police said today.

A Russian couple was looted by two youths during their visit to the sacred hill 'Govardhan' in the district, police said on Saturday.

Larmonoa and her husband Oxen had come see the Govardhan temple with their friends on Friday when the youths attacked them and snatched away their handbag which contained cash worth Rs 7,000, their visas and other important documents.

Investigations are in progress and a search is on for the two miscreants, police said.
