"After the victory in the last assembly elections in the state she had been living in illusion that she has now become invincible but the sections of society humiliated and abused by her would not not back her this time", Bargodia who is in Lucknow to campaign for the party told newspersons.

Lamenting the prevailing dismal state of affairs in UP, Bargodia said that the silence of the people is because of their insecurity and is actually the lull before the storm.

On Mayawati's complaints of lack of support by the centre, he gave an example of his ministry saying that even without her asking the state was provided enough coal for maintaining its thermal power generation .

Without naming Gujarat Chief minister Narendra Modi, he said that Modi by terming Congress a "budhia", had apparently tried to send a message to old leaders within the BJP to clear his path.
