"We don't have any formal information about government decision (to review). What we know is all from media. We don't know who is going to review and when. Anyhow, this was something which was bound to happen. Better late than never but I will continue my hunger strike," Patkar, who is admitted in AIIMS, said.

Asked what it will take to call-off her hunger strike, the activist did not give a specific answer but said "only if they save the life of the people of the valley where hundreds of villages have already submerged and many more will with the Narmada Control Authority's decision to raise the height of the dam."

She also demanded that the report of the visit of the three union ministers be made public.

On the future course of action by NBA, Patkar said "I need to talk to my other members of NBA and representatives of the valley and then only can we make any announcement after 48 hours."
