The students put up a huge vinyl board at the main gate of the college with slogans against Afzal, terrorism and a quote ‘Quran says that there is provision of death for death’ on behalf of citizens of Indore. It also demanded hanging of Afzal Guru in the open in front of the masses.

Hundreds of people, apart from the students, came forward to sign on the blank space provided on the board. The medicos also gave the e-mail address of President of India to nearly 350 persons who expressed willingness to write to him urging against clemency to Afzal.

The campaign was convened by the BJP Medical Cell to draw attention of the people towards the serious issue. “We think that no Supreme Court decision should be challenged. So there is no question of demanding something against the SC’s decision of hanging Afzal.
