People may have heard the word glutton, but few may have ever come across one in real life.
Fifty one-year-old Allah Wasaya Sheedi from Sindh's Badin district in Pakistan, can as well fit that description.
Stories abound in his home district that Sheedi can alone gorge on food meant for 50 men.
And if this was not enough, he also claims to be able to eat one maund of grass and other non-edible stuff like glass, bricks, stones, iron, nails, wood, grass and everything else without sustaining any harm, The Nation reported.
Sheedi resides at a tavern inside a dark unclean alley in front of Bacha Khan Chowk near Hyderabad Railway Station, from where he embarks on his daily morning routine to display his mastication skills.
Rumour has it that once one of his acquaintances took him to a hotel in Karachi to have buffet food for Rs 400 paid by the man.
When he had 50 people's food, the hotel-owner, paying him Rs 400, implored him to leave the hotel.
People obviously have different opinions about him. While some say he is possessed by evil spirits, who did all this in his guise, some believe him to be a magician. The youth feel he is a spiritual man.
