To raise the issue of EMP 2011, around 15 representatives from industrial associations from Udyog Vihar, Manesar, Karnal and Kundli went to meet the chief minister in Chandigarh on Saturday, but to no avail.

The meeting failed to yield any positive results. “The government authorities are adamant. It was very disappointing that no one wants to hear us, not even the chief minister.
He just didn’t give a damn about our demands. Our last hope lies with the court of law,” said Colonel (retired) Raj Singhla, president of Udyog Vihar Chambers.
