Memo on cases against scribes

THE MP Working Journalists Union, Vidisha unit, in a memorandum to Superintendent of Police demanded to strictly comply with directives of Home Department for high-level review of the criminal cases pending against journalists and to check excesses on them.

Sangh president Shalabh Bhadoria in the memorandum referred a circular issued by Home Secretary Ashish Upadhyay. In line with the directives, Bhadoria urged that the Superintendent of Police and DIG should review the evidences submitted in support of criminal charges prior to registering cases against journalists.
