DNA networks, the company that organised the Metallica concert in Gurgaon last Friday, provided transaction details of R5.5 crore to the police on Tuesday.
All the details pertain to the sale and purchase of tickets for the show which was cancelled by the organisers due to technical glitches at the last minute.
After the event was called off, fans who had been waiting for hours went berserk and damaged the venue.
The Gurgaon police arrested four officials of the company the next day and a local court sent them to police remand for six days. According to the police, the organisers have started refunding the ticket cost and assured that they will return all the money soon.
“A DNA Networks official came to provide all transaction details in the Sector 29 police station. They claimed to have started the refund science. They have also assured to provide manuals and other information soon,” said Maheswar Dayal, DCP (east) Gurgaon.
Tickets of the concert were sold for Rs 10,000, Rs 2,750 and and Rs 1,650 to more than 25,000 people who had gathered in Leisure Valley Park on Friday.
The police claimed the firm had sold tickets worth R11 crore for the show.
