Hollywood actor Mickey Rourke is set to to star in a remake of 1986 classic movie Mona Lisa.

Rourke will play a conman who takes a job as a chauffeur for a high-class escort. French actress Eva Green is in advanced negotiations to star opposite him, reported variety.com.

Helmer Larry Clark is writing and directing the remake, which is being produced by Handmade Films.

The film will go on floors in July.
