Mild intensity quake felt in Andhra Pradesh

The quake was felt in Andhra Pradesh town of Ongole at 4.47 am.

An earthquake of slight intensity was felt early on Thursday in Prakasam district of Andhra Pradesh, the Met Department said in Chennai.

The tremor, measuring 3.4 on the Richter Scale, had epicentre at latitude 15.5 degrees north and longitude 80.1 degrees east, the Regional Meteorological Centre said in a statement.
