Tremors jolted parts of Kashmir and areas along the India-Nepal border on Wednesday evening. No casualties were, however, reported in the “slight quake” of 3.3 magnitude, which the Indian meteorological department said lasted close to five seconds.

Last month, hundreds of people died in Pakistan and Afghanistan after a 7.7 magnitude earthquake hit the Hindu Kush region.
The tremors had also jolted the entire north India, including Kashmir, where a teenager died after slipping on a hillock.
