Militant hideout busted, arms recovered in Poonch

Security forces today busted a militant hideout and recovered ammunition and explosives in Jammu and Kashmir's Poonch district.

Security forces on Tuesday busted a militant hideout and recovered ammunition and explosives in Jammu and Kashmir's Poonch district.

On a tip-off, a joint column of Rashtriya Rifle (RR) and Special Operation Group (SOG) of police launched a search operation in the forest belt of Sawjian in Mandi tehsil and busted the militant hideout, police said.

From the hideout, the security forces recovered two rocket launchers, as many grenades, one pistol magazine, an AK-magazine with 11 rounds, 33 pika rounds and one binocular.
