Security forces have unearthed a militant hideout in Doda district and recovered a cache of arms and 25 kgs of explosive powder from it, police said on Tuesday.

Acting on a tip off, 8 Rashtriya Rifle and police launched search operation in Qulian area in Bhaderwah tehsil of the district and unearthed the hideout last night.

A Chinese pistol, one magazine, 10 rounds of AK rifle, one grenade, one detonator, an IED and 25 kgs of explosive powder were recovered from it, they said.
