A militant was killed in a gunbattle with army troops in Prem Nagar area of Doda district on Friday morning.
The encounter took place after militants numbering about two-three were cordoned off by security forces in a hideout in the area around 7.54 am, army officials said.

A militant was still holed up in the area, which is 160 kms from Jammu.
