THE SANYOGITAGANJ police registered a case of consensual sex as rape when it was found that the girl was a minor. According to the police the minor daughter of one Suresh Solanki fell prey to the insinuations of his neighbour 30-year old Bhura Bhil.
It is learnt that Bhil was married but as his wife could not conceive he started searching for someone who could bear him a child.
His search ended near his home when he struck friendship with his neighbour’s daughter and soon this turned into intimacy. The two spent time together at his house in the presence of his wife. The minor became pregnant and expressing fear of discovery by her parents the two ran away.
Family members of the girl searched for her everywhere and when their efforts yielded no fruits they lodged a missing persons report with the police about a fortnight back.
Acting on this compliant the police traced the two in Dhar district from where they were brought and the whole story came out.
